Our Grand River Area Family YMCA got its start in the late 1980's when an economic development committee formed by business and civic leaders determined that a YMCA would improve the quality of life through recreation for kids and seniors.

The Chillicothe Parks & Recreation Aquatic Center always offers lots of fun in the summer months.
We are also home to seven beautiful parks, ball parks, tennis
courts, walking trails, shelters, volleyball courts, horseshoe
pitching field, and much more! We are also home to the Chillicothe
Mudcats, an expansion collegiate baseball team.
